Kumar Ganapathy is an Advisory Board Member of PanCosmic Capital and part of the Investment Committee.

Kumar currently is the CEO of Akridata, an edge Data Operations platform, that boosts productivity of AI/ML teams by automating manual tasks such as data filtering, transformation, structuring and tracking data lineage and provenance. Akridata is funded by Accel and Menlo Ventures.

Kumar is a serial entrepreneur and has experienced considerable success in his earlier startups. Previously, Kumar was the founder of Virident (Flash based software defined storage solution for enterprises and cloud) that was acquired for $685M by Western Digital. Kumar was also the founder of VxTel (semiconductor startup that delivered high quality voice and data communication over next gen optical networks) that was acquired by Intel for $550M. Post the acquisitions, Kumar held senior roles at both Intel and Western Digital.

Kumar holds 75 patents and has published 10 technical papers and is an industry expert in cloud infrastructure, big data, AI ops, enterprise data centers, storage and semiconductors.
